Synod Youth Event - Tubing @ Kewaunee Winter Park

This event is for all youth 6th through 12th grade. Saturday, January 27th, we plan to go to Kewanee Winter Park. However, some things may cause this event to change a bit. The big change is the Wisconsin weather. As of today, the tubing hill at Kewanee is not open since we have no snow and making snow is not suitable in these weather conditions at the moment. 

But, we have a Plan B!

If it does not snow by January 27th, we will then move our event to Titletown and do ice skating. We tried to choose another winter activity in the same general area of our Synod.

Kewanee Winter Park (note times have changed from original advertisement of event)

We will meet in the Chalet at the park at 10am.  We will do a brief icebreaker. Individuals can purchase a 2-hour tubing pass for $10. After we finish tubing, we can gather in the Chalet for lunch that can either be purchased at the concession or brought from home. The event will likely end around 1pm.

Titletown Ice Skating at Hy-Vee Plaza (No snow Plan B)

We will meet at the Admissions Building on the South side of the park at 11am. Skating is $10 per person and ice skate rentals are $5. 

On Wednesday, January 24th, we will make a decision as to whether we have to go with Plan B instead of Kewanee Winter Park.
