Synod Youth Event Calendar
The synod youth team connects young people and those who work with them with opportunities to create friendship, grow in faith, and hone the craft of care and ministry with young people and those who serve and love them in the name of Jesus.
In the East Central Synod of Wisconsin, many churches experience a lack of youth and family participation. Others experience the difficulty of finding vibrant volunteers and leaders. Some congregations have professional youth ministry staff and others have dedicated pastors or lay leaders making good ministry happen. Whatever the case your congregation is invited to share in the youth ministry of the synod.
For those without youth participation: would you please consider holding our young people in prayer? Pray for the youth and students in your community. Reach out with a caring word to the parents you know in town. Secondly: would you consider sharing some of the funds you have dedicated for christian education or youth ministry with the synod for the sake of providing exceptional faith formation experiences? A gift can be made online at www.ecsw.org/give or by mailing a check to the East Central Synod of Wisconsin with the memo “Youth.” Thank you for being connected in this way even as we work to support your ministry in its own chapter of life.
For those with youth participating in ministry: would you please consider participating in some of the events below by sharing the information with your young people and their families? All events listed are for kids in grades six through twelve. Finally, would you hold intentionally in prayer those congregations eager to restore or strengthen youth ministry in their settings. Your congregation will be asked to provide all supervision and permission forms for your own group.
