Synod Assembly Postponement
The East Central Synod of Wisconsin Synod Assembly has been postponed. The ELCA Presiding Bishop’s office and ELCA Church Secretary’s office has recommended that all synods postpone their assemblies due to COVID-19

Resolutions
There were three resolutions originally presented before the assembly. The first resolution was not presented due to the postponement of the assembly The other two resolutions were passed. Details on each of the resolutions can be seen by selecting the button below.

Bishop Election
Anne Edison-Albright elected bishop of the ELCA East Central Synod of Wisconsin
The Rev. Anne Edison-Albright, Decorah, Iowa, was elected Sept. 26th, 2020 to serve a six-year term as bishop of the East Central Synod of Wisconsin of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The election took place during an online synod assembly.
