Women of the ELCA Gather for Retreat
On Saturday, September 14th, 101 women gathered under the theme, “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” at Imago Dei Village to listen to the inspiring Gaye Lindfors, sing along with hymns with musicians from Good Shepherd in Wausau, worship together with support from Pastor Kristina Jensen of St. John's, Saxeville, gather "Handbags for Hope," and raise funds through a silent auction that supported scholarships. The Interim Executive Director of the Women of the ELCA, Dr. Jennifer Hockenbery, brought greetings and joyfully attended, inviting gifts for Katie’s Fund. Take a look at a beautiful day together!
